U-Turn For Christ asks for a $750.00 per month donation, with a minimum two-month commitment, payable upon arrival, in the form of a cashier’s check, money order, or cash. The donation will cover housing costs for the first phase of the program (Phase One, two months).
Anyone can enroll as long as they are over 18, not a registered sex offender, and sober for at least 24 hours before enrolling.
There is no referral necessary to enroll in the program.
A Bible, notebook, pens, highlighters, a week’s worth of clothing, including work clothes and one outfit you will feel comfortable wearing to Church services, laundry bag, laundry soap, twin blanket or sleeping bag, pillow, and twin sheets.
A vehicle, cell phone, computer, tablets, iPods and other media players, secular media, all reading material other than your Bible (including commentaries and other extra-biblical media), products containing alcohol, clothing with secular/offensive logos, cigarettes, and all other tobacco products, or tobacco substitutions. We recommend you do not bring any personal valuables or cash over $20.
No, but you must be willing to participate in all Bible studies, church services, and events.
Yes.
Clothes must be non conforming . We recommend wearing a men's style t-shirts ( crew neck) one size larger than what you would normally wear . Shorts must be below the knees or longer . No yoga pants or leggings . No tank tops, cut off sleeves , v - necks. No inappropriate logos on shirts skulls , alcohol or secular logos.
After a 12 day probation period following enrollment, you can be visited on Sundays from 12:30 PM – 5:00 PM. Note: Visitation is for immediate family only (i.e., Mom, Dad, Brother, Sister, Spouse, Children, ONLY). Please note that the dress code applies to all visitors.
Yes, we do. Please note that if a court allows an individual to participate in our program rather than incarceration, enrollees must complete both phases. Phase One is two months, and Phase Two is six months, making their total commitment to the program a minimum of eight months.
